Recently, two deserving students were awarded the Garrick S. Anderson Memorial Scholarship through the McKean County Community Foundation. The Garrick S. Anderson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 to commemorate the young Garrick Anderson. Garrick was a man who exuded kindness and friendliness towards individuals of all ages. He had a passion for anything automotive and loved to play soccer. He was known for his welcoming attitude and ambition to help others. With this scholarship, his legacy of charity will continue by helping graduating seniors from Bradford Area High School who exhibit academic success in automotive, carpentry, machine, or electrical programs and involvement in school and community activities. In 2023, the MCCF awarded graduating seniors Brenden Confer and Kayli Keesler each with a $500 scholarship
