The McKean County Community Foundation (MCCF) reminds folks from the Port Allegany area that the Joe DeMott Port Allegany Community Development Fund (JDPACD) will be accepting applications until July 1, 2022. Recently, the committee met to review the eligibilities for the application process.  Applications can be found on the Community Foundation website at https://mckeancountyfoundation.org/open-grants/

The fund supports projects that encourage the arts, community development, education, environment, or health and social services within the Port Allegany School District.

The McKean County Community Foundation encourages local residents and businesses to consider making a tax-deductible donation to help grow this community-oriented fund and increase the granting dollars available each year.

The McKean County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Northern Alleghenies, is a non-profit organization that brings together the financial resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support area nonprofits and offer educational support to students in our communities through the establishment of charitable funds.
