Highlights from the Kane Senior Expo

We sincerely thank PA State Rep. Martin Causer and the Kane Community for hosting us at their annual Senior Expo last Friday!

Please join us in congratulating Harvetta Green, the lucky winner of our gift basket raffle! The basket included our “Donor for a Day” experience, giving Harvetta the unique opportunity to select a local nonprofit organization to receive a donation from the McKean County Community Foundation (MCCF) in her name.

The expo also provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with individuals who embody the true impact of MCCF’s grants, scholarships, and funds.

We were honored to meet Bonnie Huckabone, sister of the late Charles “Butch” Hannold. Butch’s wife established the Butch & Peg Hannold Donor Advised Fund at MCCF, creating a lasting legacy that continues to support and uplift the community they loved.

We also caught up with Sarah Carlson (Kane Class of 2017), a past recipient of an MCCF scholarship. Sarah now serves as a Resource Technician at the McKean County Conservation District. It is incredibly rewarding to see our scholarship recipients come full circle, build successful careers, and make a positive impact right here in our region!
